Q. I live in CA but want to relocate to the east coast. How can you help me?

A. If you are interested in a specific city you may want to attend a Recruitment Event in that city as a majority of the positions will be local.

Regarding Recruitment Events:

Q. I have attended one of your events before and was not able to talk with some of the companies because I did not have 2-3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience. Is it worth it for me to attend another event?

A. Every company will have qualifications necessary for success. Some companies will require previous sales experience while others will not. Your background and experience will determine if you meet the minimum interviewing criteria defined in the on-site company booklet.

Q. What do other applicants have to say about Bessire's Sales Recruitment Events?

A. After each event, applicants are asked to fill out an Exit Interview. Bessire uses input from applicants to help us perfect the process and better serve each person who attends an event. Here are just a few samples from some recent Exit Interviews:

Q. Do I need to be at the Recruitment Event all day?

A. No, you do not need to be with us all day. The companies will be there from 9am to 3pm but we suggest you spend a minimum of 3 hours with us. This will ensure several interviews.

Q. Is there a "best time" to attend the event?

A. Not really, whatever is best for you.

Q. Will there be managers from the companies on-site conducting the interviews?

A. Yes. Company representatives will be present that day to interview.

Q. Should I fax you a copy of my resume ahead of time?

A. If you can attend, no. Companies would much rather receive your resume when they meet you face-to-face. If for some reason you cannot attend, you may e-mail us your resume to myresume@bessire.com.

Q. What is the territory for the position with Merck?

A. When you arrive on-site at the event, you will receive a booklet with a list of companies represented that day. It will give you general information about the company and their position(s). Questions still not answered may be discussed with a Career Counselor from Bessire & Associates prior to interviewing with the companies.
